Role: Lead Electrician
On this project, I led a team of electricians to execute the lighting design from plots provided by the lighting designer. We worked to hang, circuit, patch, and focus all of the instruments required for the show on the previously arranged deadlines.
Hanging the lights involved working at heights on a Manned Elevated Work Platform and interaction with various ETC LED fixtures, conventional ERS fixtures, and an ETC EOS Original lighting board.

On this project, I led a team of electricians to execute the lighting design from plots provided by the lighting designer. We worked to hang, circuit, patch, and focus all of the instruments required for the show on the previously arranged deadlines.
This project was an interesting challenge because of its production in a black box theater and exclusive use of conventional lighting fixtures. It was a new experience for me to set up a lamp check schedule and process to run throughout the show after opening.
Hanging lights in this space involved working at heights using a rolling-catwalk system to hang ETC Source 4 ERSs, Source 4 PARS, and ColorTran 6 and 8 inch Fresnels.

Role: Lead Scenic Electrician
In this position, I was responsible for drawing and executing all scenic lighting requirements as communicated from the scenic designer and assist with other electrician duties as became necessary.
This role proved particularly challenging because of the tight timelines and the incredible amount of soldering that was needed. The scenic lighting included neon-look LED tape, LED globe lights, and LED Shadowbox Panels, all of which needed to be circuited to the theater's central dimming system. Due to budget constraints, we were unable to use DMX-controlled LED drivers where they would have been warranted, instead opting for dimmable power supplies which could be hooked up to a conventional rack dimmer.
